She was not listed in the 1858 probate documents of her grandfather, Peter Reves, in Halifax County, Virginia along with her siblings so it is presumed that she died before that time.

Research Notes

Recently discovered information regarding John L. McDonald prove that his wife Elizabeth Reeves was from an entirely different family and too young to have been this Elizabeth Reeves. Elizabeth was unmarried in the home of her mother in the 1850 census of Gibson County, Tennessee and likely may not have married.
