Narrative
Nathaniel H. Reeves was made the administrator of Elmer's estate on 10 Nov 1846. The inventory was made 9 Dec 1846 by Stephen Reeves and John Loper. In an 1850 deed, a Nathaniel Reeves Jr. sold land "set off to Deborah Jackson one of the heirs of Abraham Reeves decd and the said Deborah Jackson having conveyed said swamp to Elmer and Alfred Reeves and the said Alfred having died the said party of the first part became heir to one eighth of the half part." This likely indicates that Elmer and Alfred were brothers and somehow part of the family of Abraham Reeves.
