On the 1901 Canadian Census, Fred gives his place of birth as England and declares both his parents are English. He states he arrived in Canada in 1882 and his wife Ada is listed with him.

In 1906, he is listed with his wife Edith J., age 31, born in England, and daughter Susan E. (age 3).

In 1911, it states Fred was born Feb 1875 and Edith April 1875. It lists with them Susan (Nov 1903), John (Feb 1907), and Henry (May 1908)

In 1916, he is listed with wife Edith Jane and children Susan Edith (13), John (9), William H. (7), and Frederick E. (4).

In 1921, he is listed with wife Edith J., and sons John (14), Henry (12), and Edward (9).

Frederick Reeves
Funeral service was held on July 7 in Holy Trinity church, for Frederick Reeves who died in Winnipeg General Hospital on the Wednesday previous following a lengthy illness. The service was conducted by Rev. B. O. Whitfield of Birtle, assisted by C. I. Rothery. Pallbearers were H. d. Armitage, A. Kyle, J. Webster, J. Rae, D. Russell, S. Rollo, with burial in Two Creeks Cemetery. The many beautiful floral tributes were evidence of the esteem which friends and neighbors had for Mr. Reeves.
Born in Herefordshire, England, in February, 1875, Mr. Reeves came to Canada in 1882. He married Jennie Morton in January 1901. Some years ago they retired from their farm home at Two Creeks to reside in Miniota.
Surviving are his wife, two sons John and Harry of Two Creeks, seven grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. A Webster of Welwyn, a brother Frank of Virden, and a half brother, Wm. Maxfield of Two Creeks.

OBITUARY
Mrs. Fred Reeves Friends and neighbors joined with the relatives at the funeral service held on Saturday last in Holy Trinity church, Miniota, for Mrs. Fred Reeves, who passed away on Wednesday, April 22nd at the home of her son, Henry, following an illness, in her 78th year.
Edith Jane Morton was born in Staffordshire, England, and came to Canada with her parents in the 1880's and her marriage to Frederick Reeves took place in St. Mary's church, Virden, on January 3rd, 1901. On the same day in 1951, the couple celebrated their golden wedding at the home of Mr. and Mrs J. J. Morton.
For a great number of years Mr. and Mrs Reeves resided on their farm in the Two Creeks district and upon retiring they came to reside in Miniota and following the death of Mr. Reeves in July, 1951, Mrs. Reeves resided with her son.
Surviving are two sons, John and Henry, at Two Creeks; one brother, James, Victoria, B.C and a sister, Mrs Davy in Australia.
Rev. W. H. Hunter Birtle, con. the service and the casket was laid to rest in the family plot in Two Creeks cemetery, by C. H. Webster. I. V. Sparks, A Russell, H D Armitage, W. J. Collier, W. Conover. There were many floral tributes.

This is probably the same Frederick, then aged 16, found on the 1891 Canadian Census in the household of Henry & Emma Reeves.
