George D Reeves was a Mason. Elizabeth died first and is buried in the Pugh Family Cemetery. When George died, he was not buried with his wife. Family lore is the Pugh's did not want a Mason buried in their cemetery. George is buried on a nearby hill in what is now the George D Reeves family cemetery. Both cemeteries are in Virgina near Grassy Creek, NC.
