RITES SET FOR G L REEVES, 75
Columbus, Ind, Oct 22 — G L Reeves, 75, president of the Reeves Pulley Co, of Columbus, and the Reeves Pulley Co, Inc of New York, died at his home here, Tuesday.
Mr Reeves and two brothers, Marshall T Reeves and Milton O Reeves, founded the company which first manufactured only pulleys but later turned to making various types of speed control transmission units.
For many years Mr Reeves was prominent in civic affairs at Columbus. He was an elder and member of the official board of the First Christian church.
Mr Reeves was born in Rush county but had lived here most of his life. He is survived by his widow, a daughter, Mrs John W Taylor, Detroit, and two sons, Robert F Reeves, of this city, and Walter J Reeves, of Boston.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday.
Gernie is buried in the Columbus City Cemetery in Columbus, Bartholomew County, Indiana.
