Reeves' family information from family members who settled in Greene and Lawrence Counties of Indiana after leaving the New River area indicate that Hannah Reeves who married John M. Burton was a daughter of William Reeves and Anne Terrell. According to the 1850 census of Greene County, Indiana, Hannah Reeves Burton was born in 1796 which does not agree with the ages of William Reeves daughters as listed in the census records of 1800 and 1810.- Listed in the household of William Reeves in the 1800 census of Ashe County NC are 1 Male 0-10, 1 Male 26-44, 3 Females 0-10 and 1 Female 16-25.
