Henry Reeves, aged 78 of Stella died at his home Wednesday, April 18. Born at Gid, he was a farmer and a Methodist.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs Carrie Reeves; a daughter Mrs Myrtle Chrisco of Stella; two sons, Dewey and Alvin Reeves both of Stella; two sisters, Mrs Betty Moser of Gid and Mrs Martha Twilley of San Antonio, Tex,; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

There are discrepancies in the records concerning his birth date. His WWI Draft Card records a middle name and seems to read like "Mansaw" but is hard to interpret.Sources
