Jabez (written Jabeas in the will) is the only one of James Reeves older children who was mentioned in his will. Jabez along with his half brother, James F. Reeves were appointed by their father as the administrators. Legacies were left to his younger sons but to none of the children of his first wife Sarah McElroy.
