This appears to be the James Reeves listed on the tax lists for both land and personal property in Prince William County, Virginia throughout the 1780s. The will of James' widow Margaret states "last will and testament of Margarett Reeves formerly of Prince William County Virginia and late of Charles County deceased". This is undoubtedly the same James Reeves' whose estate inventory dated July 4th, 1791 is recorded in Prince William County, Virginia Will Book G, pg 535.
