James was living next to his father in 1820. He appears to be married with five children.

There is a James Sr. (30-40) and James Jr. (40-50) listed in Prince William County, Virginia in 1830. These are obviously not father and son as the ages are too close and the one listed as "Senr" is actually younger. This James may be one of them. It seems that both of these James had a family.
