In addition to having been listed again in the 1860 census in her father Neville Reeves' household, there was an Elizabeth M. Reeves also listed in her uncle Elijah Reeves' (a brother to Neville) in another township. This Elizabeth M is listed as a 19 year old “domestic servant.” Listed under her name is James Robertson, age 2. And relationship recorded for Elizabeth was “niece” and “son” for James.

Research Notes

According to Mable Collier Reeves, her father, James R. Reeves was delivered in Fortville by a Dr. Kennedy but no official record has been found to collaborate this information. The first record of Jim, age 2, was in the 1860 census living with Elizabeth in the home of her uncle Elijah Reeves.
