It mentions he had a widow Jane Scobbie and was buried in Blantyre cemetery 6 Nov 1877. The cause was an explosion of firedamp. An image of the Scotland Statutory Deaths record includes the fact that his parents were John Revie, a handloom weaver (decd) and Agnes Revie (M S Turnbull) (decd).
