- of the 2nd Essex, Regtl. No. 7671, Rank Private, Name Reeves, John, age 35, posted for duty on 7/10/1903 at Warley
- To France Aug/14 in infantry front line duty until Nov/18 - admitted into hospital with "myalgia" & deafness - in hospital since. Felt present symptoms about a year ago, but no apparent reason. Was in duty from Nov/17 - March/18.
He was discharged 28 Jan 1919. He was buried in Watford in Hertfordshire.
