Narrative

Probably the son of Joseph Reeves and his wife Hannah (perhaps also sometimes known as Anne), baptised at the Parish Church of St Peter, Church Norton, Selsey in Sussex in May 1780.

On the 1841 census taken on 6 June, Joseph is living in Church Norton, Selsey, Sussex.

At the time of the 1851 census, on 30 March, Joseph appears as a lodger in the household of William Harris.

It is probable Joseph's is the burial recorded in May 1852 at Selsey, with a corresponding Death Registration in second quarter of the same year in Westhampnett Registration District.
