Cumberland County orphan's court minutes note that Lewis filed for a John Reeves to be his guardian on 25 Nov 1811, being under 21 years. This was probably his brother.
He was still of Hopewell, Cumberland County in 1824 when sold some land from the Orphan's Court division.
A biography of his son Lewis contains the following concerning this Lewis:
His father bought a considerable tract of timber and remained there until he improved a fine farm. He was a man of more than ordinary abilities, which were soon discovered in a new country where they were needed; and, after a residence of a few years, he was elected High Sheriff of Trumbull County. He served in the office a number of years, and in 1844 he removed to Dart Co., Ind., where he died.
Note that there is no such thing as Dark County, Indiana. However, it appears this is referring to Darke County, Ohio, where Lewis is found, age 54, born in New Jersey, with wife Hannah (56), children Hannah M. (20), and Betsey M. (25).
Hannah is buried in the Hillgrove Cemetery, Darke County, Ohio. The headstone states "Hannah/Wife of/Lewis Reeve/Died/Sept 3 1851/Aged 60 yrs...." (difficult to read from picture).
