Narrative

Very little is known of Logan, son of Joshua Reeves of Wilkes County. He is named as an heir in an 1858 deed recorded in 1860 by the heirs of Joshua Reeves wherein they sold land inherited from their father to Wiley P. Absher whose property adjoined the tract being sold.

Logan had apparently married and left home before the 1850 census was taken for he is not listed in Joshua Reeves' household in either the 1850 or the 1860 census.

He may have been the Logan Reeves who is recorded as enlisting on 26 Oct 1863 in the Confederate 3rd Infantry in Wake County. On the 30th of Nov 1863, he is listed as being sick and "sent to rear, not heard from since".
