Narrative

Probable child of Margaret and unknown first spouse:
  1. Thomas L. unknown, born 1847
Children of Margaret and Andrew J. Reeves:
  1. Mary E. Reeves, b. 1853
  2. Caroline Reeves, b. 1854
  3. Andrew J. Reeves, b. 1856
  4. Dicey A. Reeves, b. 1857
  5. George W. Reeves b. 1860
  6. Francis M. Reeves, b. 1861
In the 1860 census there was another child living in the home and listed with the Reeve' surname but he appears to have been a child of Margaret's first marriage. There are also no further records for a Thomas L. Reeves, born circa 1847.

No further records have been found for Andrew Jackson Reeve(s) beyond the 1860 census. The A. J. recorded in Blount County, Alabama in 1860 appears to have died between 1860 and 1870, possibly in the Civil War. In the 1870 and 1880 census, Margaret Reeves is the head of a household that includes most of the children listed above from the 1860 census in addition to another child, Francis M. born circa 1861. In the 1880 census she is recorded as a widow living in Morgan County, Alabama.
