Research Notes

Melba and Frank lived in El Dorado Springs after their marriage. Then Their family relocated to Lawrence, Kansas where much of their lives were spent, before moving back to Missouri upon their retirement in 1991. Melba was affectionately known as Mrs. Smackers locally, as she enjoyed making jams and jellies as gifts to her friends and family. Melba is buried at the El Dorado Springs, City Cemetery.
