There is no indication that Permelia Reeves ever married. It is this researcher opinion that she had at least one child out of wedlock. There is some evidence that Permelia Reeves was the daughter of Malachi Reeves (3951) B. 1755 Guildord, NC and D. 10 Aug 1827 in Wilkes County, Georgia. Malachi is the son of Jeremiah Reeves, Sr. (3107) b. c1738 Halifax County, NC and died 13 Sept 1806 in Wilkes County, Georgia.
