Mrs. Lucinda C. Reeves, aged 65 years, died at the home of her son, Munson, northwest of this city last Friday night between 9 and 10 o'clock following a brief illness of pneumonia.
Mrs. Reeves was born in Rush county in 1849, and was the widow of Otho Miffin Reeves, who died sixteen years ago. She had lived in and about Knightstown for many years and was well-known. She was a kind, good woman, modest and unassuming. The funeral was held from the Christian church Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. E. S. Conner, of Irvington, in charge. Three sons, Arthur, Munson and Allen Reeves survive. Interment took place at Glencove cemetery.
