Peter May Reeves (1824-1904)
P.M. Reeves, and aged and respected citizen, died Friday Aug. 5. Had Mr. Reeves lived to see his next birthday, which was not far off, he would have been 80 years old; at this advanced age, he was attacked by a cancer, which gradually advanced its claim on his life, until death finally relieved him, and a good man was sent to his reward.
He was the father of a large family of children, and at the time of his death was living with his daughter, Mrs. Wood Williams; his other children living near here are, Jas. M., Geo., Frank, Ray and Albert Reeves. Deceased was a brother of the late Uncle Tommy Reeves, an old and respected citizen of Malden. The Merit joins the many friends of the bereaved relatives in their afflictions.
