"Elizabeth Slayton wife of Slayton" is named in the estate of her grandfather, George Washington Reeve as an heir of his daughter, Cynthia, in a probate court hearing dated 2 Sep 1850. The marriage license of Willis Slaten and R. Elizabeth Reeve is dated 21 Feb 1848, Marshall Co., AL. Elizabeth presumably died sometime between 1850 and 2 Jul 1854, when Willis Slaton married his cousin, Mary F. Slaton. Whether Willis and Elizabeth had children is unknown.
