The Boston Selectmen's minutes report on 23 Oct 1716 that "Richard Reeves Tayler who wth his wife came from Engld into this Town wth Capt Thoms Ptts abt a moneth Since, is by ye Sel. men no warned to depart with 14 dayes." The minutes later state that Richard Reeves was Admitted on 19 Jun 1717 with Richd Prcter & Walter Newbery, Surities.
