Bratton, Wiltshire apprenticeships include a record for Robert Reeves who was apprenticed to Thomas "Poplar" in 1764. The will of Thomas Pepler of Bratton, dated 29 Sep 1775 (probated 1776), states "I give devise and bequeath to my Daughter Eve the wife of Robert Reeves of Bratton aforesaid Blacksmith All that Dwelling house....Also I give and bequeath to my Granddaughter Leah the Daughter of my said Daughter Eve Reeves the sum of five pounds..."
Robert and Eve were batchelor and Spinster both of Bratton.
