Narrative

Sarah is he ninth known child of Samuel and Mary. She was born on 26 November 1836 and baptised at the Parish Church of St Mary The Virgin, Eling on 1 January 1837.

She appears on the 1841 census living in her parents home at Staplewood Farm, age 4.

On the 1851 census, she is working in domestic service as a nursery maid in the household of Frederick G SHUTE at Victoria Lodge Millbrook along with her elder sisters Elizabeth and Esther.

Nothing is currently known of her later life.
