Source of the above children - 1850 Census of Prince William County, Virginia. These appear to be the only children born to Thomas and Eliza Reeves since these children's ages match those of the children in their home per the 1840 census; however, there was an unidentified female age 20-29 (born 1811 to 1820) living in the household at that time.

The marriage of Dr. Thomas Reeves to Eliza Shaw in Occoquan, Virginia was published in the Columbian Centinel newspaper of Massachusetts. However, the 1850 and 1860 census both give his occupation as shoemaker.
