The family appears to have been counted twice in the 1870 census, with the second taking possibly actually occurring in 1871.

Sinah's Death Certificate states she was the daughter of Eli Wilson and was born in Tennessee. The marriage record gives her name as Ceney Wilson.

Filed a pension claim in 1890 from Illinois for service in 138th Indiana Infantry, Co. K.

Thomas was buried in the Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana with a Civil War headstone.

Research Notes

Daughter Mary may have been married three times. Listed on the 1880 census as Molley Peirce. There are two grandchildren, Ida and George Hanson who may be her children from a previous marriage.
