Children's births from the Thomas Reeves Family Bible.

This appears to be Thomas Reaves in Orangeburg District in the 1800 census. He should not be confused with Thomas Rives who was recorded in the Lexington section of Orangeburg District in the same census.

Although the family Bible transcription states that a Thomas Reeves died 17 Jul 1812, he appears on the 1820 census nearby his sister-in-law Mrs. U. A. Reeves with a tick mark in his age category. And again in 1830. It's possible the death date is for that of his son Thomas. This needs more research.

Research Notes

Note that the Bible transcription first gives a birth date of 17 Aug, then later states 5 Aug.

DAR record #A095057 apparently indicates a death date of July 17th, 1847. This needs investigation.
