Thomas Reeves, 80, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Herbert Husted, in Cedaredge Monday morning following a short illness. Mr. Reeves was born near Liverpool, England, July 23, 1855. He came to Boston, Mass., in 1861 and four years later moved to Wisconsin. On March 23, 1898, he was united in marriage to Miss Frances Halleck at Tomah, Wis. The same year he moved to Nebraska and in 1905 came to Cedaredge, where he has since made his home. Mrs. Reeves passed away three years ago. He was a barber by trade and operated a shop in Cedaredge for a number of years. Surviving him are seven daughters, Mrs. Lula Crawford, Cedaredge; Mrs. Kate Voria, Greeley; Mrs. Belle Riley, Casper, Wyo.,; Mrs. Dana Davis, Brighton, Colo.; Mrs. Delias Husted, Paonia; Mrs. Venus Buzzard, Cedaredge; Mrs. Fern Husted, Cedaredge. No funeral arrangements have been made as yet. The Delta Mortuary is in charge.
Thomas was buried in Cedaredge Cemetery, Cedaredge, Delta County, Colorado.
