The Indiana Progress, 9 Mar 1858
We are pained to learn that one day week before last, as Mr. Van Reeves, of Rostraver township, was returning from Washington County, where he had been on business, he stopped at Bellevernon for dinner. Having eaten a hearty meal, he mounted his horse and resumed his way homeward, apparently as well at ever; but when in sight of his house he fell from his horse and died in a few minutes. Mr. Reeves was a very respectable and worthy man. — Greensburgh Herald.
