Narrative
Children of William Reeves and Mary Pickering:- William Reeves, Jr.
In a 1762 Deed from Essex County, William Reeves of Salem deeded land that was from the estate of his father Cockerill Reeves. His wife was named Mary in the deed (DB 112, p89).
The death record for William from 1796 gives an age that matches a 1710 birth year. This would appear to be the William Reeves who married Mary Pickering on 16 Jan 1734 in Salem. He may have had a son and daughter based on the census record.
On 1 Jan 1755, he and his wife Mary deeded some land that Mary had inherited from her mother Jane Pickering. A William Reeves Jr. witnessed the deed.
