A William Rives is listed on the 1830 census of Hardeman County, Tennessee along with a Peter G. Rives. Peter G. Reeves appears in Crittenden County, Arkansas on the 1840 census then in 1850 a William Reeves is also living in Proctor Township. These individuals are not brothers as the 1811 will of Burwell Rives, father of Peter does not name a William among his children.
