Narrative
The book "Father Reeves" (see Sources below) claims William was born on 15 December 1779 at Cudham in Kent, which is consistent with the information in the 1851 census. He married his first wife, who is unnamed, on 5 October 1807 and she died on 11 November 1826 (pages 17 and 34 respectively).
William married Martha in 1827 (page 36). There are no known children of either of William's marriages (page 36).
William and Martha appear on both the 1841 & 1851 census returns in Lambeth, Surrey.
William died on 1 November 1852 shortly after having been knocked down by a bullock. There are several newspaper references to this incident available from the pay per view site British Newspaper Archive including the Morning Chronicle of Friday 5 November and The Era of Sunday 7 November 1852.
