William's headstone in the St. Andrews Graveyard in Mt. Holly reads: "In Memory of William Reeves who Departed this life July 24 1763 Aged 42 Years."

Sarah gained administration on his estate in 1763. One of the administration records describes him as of Springfield, Burlington County. There was a second administration granted on the same day that is identical except it identifies William as of Hunterdon County. Perhaps he had business dealings in Hunterdon.
