Willis served in the 40 Reg. t.E.M.M., Co.6 Sadialia, Mo from October 1,1864-November 1,1864. He was relieved from duty. Willis died a little over a month later. And is buried in the David Thomson cemetery in Pettis County, Missouri. Willis died with out a will. His occupation was a farmer.
