William appears in the Court Order books of Westmoreland County, Virginia. His wife was the widow of Thomas Watson and they gained administration on his estate 28 Jun 1721. That same day, a girl named Margarett Turner was apprenticed to William Reives.

In 1732, Rachell Reeves was involved in two cases against Thomas Jewell. Both were dismissed as they failed to show up in court.
