Narrative
Based upon the undated will of Priscilla Rives, she never married and had no children. Her will leaves legacies to her nephew James Rives, son of Timothy Rives, and if James should die without an heir, the property would descend to his brother Turner and sister Charlotte. Another small legacy was left to her nephew William, son of Robert Rives. She left her clothes to Mrs. Priscilla Rives (wife of her brother Robert) and her two daughters Mrs. Polly Williamson and Charlotte Rives. The residue of her estate was left to her brother Timothy Reeves who was also appointed executor of her estate along with friend Thomas Taylor.
