Colonel William Ryves, of whom Hutchins records that "the lands of Ballyskiddane, Rahegullard, Searteene, Glancory, Glenaglish, in the barony of Coslea, co. Limerick, were granted to Selford Stout and Abigail, his wife, in trust for the children of this gentleman, 29 April 1667. Will dated 25 July 1652." Col. William Ryves married Abigail Browne, widow of Captain Anthony Dawley, who remarried after the death of second husband, Selford Stout, of Younghall, Esq.
