By around 1715 Thomas Streshley, Jr. was routinely listed as a witness to deeds or in other records of Essex County. In May of 1720, Thomas Jr. is listed as one of the witnesses to the will of Captain William Upshaw.
An account of the estate of Captain Thos. Sthreshly, included a payment to “Reeves sute at Wmsburg”, Essex County at Tappa. December 20, 1737 (see also 1741). The estate of Mr Thos. Sthreshly, Jr. paid George Reeves a lawyer’s fee in the suit brought by John Reeves against Charles Waller, Essex County, July 1741. [Will Book 6, p324]
