Wiki Stats - End November 2015

The total number of pages in the Wiki (as at 1 December 2015) now stands at 6548 (previously 6458, 6450, 6444), an increase of 90 pages during the past month.     Of these 1286 pages (was 1281, 1280, 1280) begin with number and are most probably a date related gleaning.     We currently have 2719 wiki pages categorised as "People", of which 2303 begin with the letter "R".

TRP Users

We ended November 2015 with 237 user accounts registered with TRP, an increase of two over the month. However, with two new members starting registration in late October, we actually have four new members successfully activating their account during the month. We welcome Jeremy, Thomas B., Yovonne and William T. and look forward to their contributions.

6500th Wiki Page

If you look carefully at the graph above, you'll notice we crossed the 6500 wiki page milestone during November, actually on 10 November. A page for the All Saints Parish in Hastings, Sussex was actually the 6500th page, one of 90 new pages created during the month. Over two thirds of those new pages this month were created by one of our new community members, Jeremy. He has clearly demonstrated that with a little perseverance, its not difficult make a significant contribution to TRP. The family he is currently documenting has its roots in Kent, England and is following its branches into Iowa and elsewhere in the USA.

We celebrated adding our 6000th page in July 2014 and our 5500th page back in June 2013.
