Prince George Co., VA
History
Prince George County was formed from Charles City County in 1702, but the boundary was not defined until 1703. When the county was established, its only city was Bermuda City (later City Point), laid out in 1613. Brunswick County was established in 1720 from Prince George County. Because of sparse population, the county government was not formed until 1732. In that same year, Brunswick received more land from parts of Surry and Isle of Wight counties.
