The Virtual Reeves World War One Memorial
These pages within The Reeves Project aim to bring together information about those individuals who bore the surname Reeves and its variants and who during World War One made the ultimate sacrifice. Most British town and villages have their local war memorial, often found in the town square or at the main cross roads, in the local memorial gardens, on the village green or in the grounds of the parish church. This is not an exclusively British phenomenon, similar memorials are found elsewhere and the names of our Reeves ancestors will be commemorated along side those of their fallen colleagues on many such memorials.
Within The Reeves Project we invite you to create a page for that individual, with information about their life and their family. TRP administrators will then link that page to one or more of the following pages.
- An alphabetical list of those who appear on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission web site. At the beginning of February 2014 that list named 369 individual with the surname Reeves and 2 each for Reaves and Ryves
- An alphabetical list of those who appear on the American Battle Monuments Commission web site. At the beginning of February 2014, that list named seven individuals with the surname Reeves and one Reaves
