In the name of God Amen the xixth day of May And nyne & thirteth yere of the Reigne of our sovreigne lady Elizabeth by the grace of God of England France and Ireland Queene Defender of the faith &c I Willm Reeve of Ffyfield in the county of Essex hsband being wck in body but whole of mynd & of good remembrance thanks be to god for the same do ordaine & make this my last will & testament in manner & fourme following First I geve & bequeath my soule unto the hands of allmytie God and his son Christ Jesus my only maker and redeemer and my body to be buried in the churchyard of Fyfield afforsd. It. I give to the poore people of Fyfield aforesd the some of xv? to be dyvided among them. It I geve and bequeath unto my fower children named Thomas Henrye? Jhoan and Ellen to evrie one of them fifty shillings apece to be paid wthin fower yeres next after my decease. All the residue of my goods & chattells cowes? cattle & emblements whatsoever I geve unto Ellen my wife whom I make sole executrix of this my last will nd testament she paying my debts and legacies and buring my body decently to the earth. And I apoint overseers hereof my two sonnes namely Willm & Gylbert and they to have for their faithfull care to hav their vi? apece. In witnes whereof I the said Willm abovesd have hereunto set my hand & seale the day & yere above written.
