In the name of God Amen the Nineteenth day of December in the yeare of our Lord God One Thousand sixe hundred sixty and foure I Laurence Reeve of the Parrish of Foulenesse Island in the County of Essex yeoman, doe make and ordaine this my last will and Testament in manner and former following. First I bequeath my soule into the hands of God my Creatour and Redeemer, and my body to the earth whence it was taken, to be decently buried in Christian buriall by my executours hereafter named. It: I give and bequeath to James my son, the sume of forty shillings to be payd unto him within twelve months next after my decease It: I give and bequeath unto Joane my daughter the sume of forty shillings to be payd unto her within twelve monthes next after my decease. It: I give and bequeath unto Margerett Reble my daughterin law the sume of fifty shillings to be payd within sixe monthes next after my decease. All the rest of my Goods and chattells whatsoever, and wheresoever unbequeathed (all my debts and funerall charges being first discharged) I give and bequeath unto Susan my wife, John my son, William my son, and Susan my daughter, to be devided betwixt them in even and equall portion. It: I make constitute and ordaine Susan my wife and John my son to be the sole executors of this my last will and Testament. In witness hereof I have here unto set and put my hand and seale the day and yeare first above written.the marke of Laurene Reeve
