In the Name of God Amen I Joseph Ryves of the Citie of London Woollendraper being sick in bodie but of good mind and understanding Praised be God doe make my last Will and Testament as followeth, Imprimis I give and bequeath my soul into the hands of my blessed Saviour and Redeemer Jesus Christ, and for my Bodie I desire the same may be decently buried according to the discretion of my executor herein after namedItem I give and bequeath to my loving Brother Brune Ryves whome I make my executor of this my last Will All and every such summes of money as are now in his hands, or which hee shall hereafter receive either upon Accompt of my Father Dr Brune Ryves personall estate or out of or for my share of a Debts devised to mee by my said Fathers Will due from one Mr Byng and alsoe all other my Estate both reall and persoanll upon Trust that hee first thereout paying just debts and funerall expences, And afterwards, if the same will amount to soe much, that hee pay to his Sonn Brune Ryves my nephew the summe of one hundred pounds when hee shall be of the age of one and twentie. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seale thee fourteenth day of May Anno Domini one thousand six hundred Eightie.
