Transcript

This is the last Will and Testament of me Joseph Ryves of the parish of Stebonheath alias Stepney in the County of Middx Gent made this thirtieth Day of October in the fourth year of the reign of our sovereign Lord James the second by the Grace of God of England Scotland France and Ireland king Defender of the faith &c Annoq Domini One thousand six hundred Eighty Eight in manner following Imprimis I do hereby order and appoint ???interred in such order and manner as my dear wife Susan Ryves shall think fitt.
Item I give and bequeath unto my loving kinsman Joseph Ryves son of my late brother Valentine Ryves meat drink washing and lodging apparrell and all other necessaries sufficient for him so long as he shall live with my said loving wife And be assisting to her in her affairs.
Item In case my said wife shall marry or be married after my decease that then and in such case I give to my said kinsman the summe of one hundred pounds of lawfull mony of England to be paid him within three months after such marriage of my said wife. Al the rest and residue of my estate both real and personall I give devise and bequeath the same unto my said loving wife Susan Ryves her heirs executors administrators and assigns forever and I do constitute and appoint my said wife Susan Ryves to be executrix of this my will and I doe hereby revoke all former and other wills by me at any time heretofore made and do declare this to be my last Will and Testament And In witness whereof have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.
