Transcription

KNOW ALL MEN by these Presents that I Henry Reeves Junr of South farnham Parish in Essex County Planter am held & firmly bound unto William Meador son of Richard Meador and Grandson of John Meador deced of the Parish & County aforesaid Planter his heirs Ex.rs & admrs in the sum of five thousand two hundred Pounds of good sound merchantable Tobacco to ex which payment will & truly to be made I bind myself my heirs Ex.rs and adm.rs firmly by these Presents Sealed with my seal Dated this Seventeen day of May 1728.

THE CONDITION of the above obligation is such that if the above bound Henry Reeves junr his heirs Ex.rs & admrs and every of them shall Exonerate acquit and discharge the heir or heirs of the above sd. William Meador of and from all Penaltys debts dues and demands whatsoever saving the Consideration of a certain Deed for Land passing (?) the sd. William to the said Henry for the warranting & making good the Title of a certain Tract or Parcel of Land if he the said Henry his heirs Ex.rs adm.rs or Assigns should be Ejected of the same Scituate (sic) lying and being in the Parish & County aforesaid and now sold & conveyed by the sd. William Meador to the said Henry Reeves junr his Heirs & assigns, Then this Obligation to be Void otherwise to remain in force Power & Virtue ~
