In the Name of God Amen I John Reeves of the County of Lancaster being very sick and weak but in perfect sence and memory thanks be to god for the same calling to mind the uncertainty of this Life doe make and ordain this my last will and Testament in manner and form following first then I give and bequeath my soul to god that gave it me hopeing to be saved by the merits of Jesus Christ my Lord and only saviour and my body to the ground from whence it came to be decently buried at the Discretion of my Executor hereafter named and with what worldly goods it hath pleased god to bestow upon me as followeth Item I give to my Daughter Elizabeth Flint the wife of Richard Flint Twenty shillings to buy her a ring. Item I give to my son William Reeves one shilling sterling. Item I give to my son Eaton Reeves one shilling sterling, Item I give to my servant man James Meneo my suite of cloath I have now on and a great coat. Item I give to my son James Reeves all the rest my estate whatsoever out of which he is to maintain my loving wife Phebee Reeves dureing her life and I do appoint my son James Reeves whole and sole Executr of this my Last will and Testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this 10th day of April 1731
