Last Day of Julian calendar in Britain and British Empire


Wednesday, 2 September 1752 (Old Style)

In Britain and the British Empire (including the eastern parts of what is now the United States), Wednesday 2 September was the final day prior to the adoption of the Gregorian calendar.

It was followed by Thursday, 14 September 1752 (New style)
