David Peebles .. Deft} Upon a petition for four pounds seven shillings due by Account.
The Defend. having been duly summoned and not appearing and the plt. having made oath to the justness of this account. It is considered by the Court that the plt. recover against him his debt aforesd in the said petition mentioned and his costs by him in this behalf expanded including a lawyers fee

Joseph Parkes .. Deft} In Trespass assault and Battery.
This Day came the parties by their attornies and thereupon came also a jury, to wit. Andrew Troughton &c. who being elected tried and sworn the truth to speak upon the issue joined upon their oath do say that the Defend is not Guilty in manner and form as the plt. against him hath complained and as in pleading he hath alleged therefore It is considered by the Court that the plt take nothing by his Bill but for his false clamour be in mercy ?. and that the Deft go thereofhence without Day and recover against the plt his costs by him about his Defense in this behalf expended.
